Strategies for Delivering Therapeutic Transgenes into Patients

Well this is a brief summary of what is going in the filed of stem cells. But still there is a long way to go and still many questions need to be answered as to what are the potential differences between embryonic stem and germ cells? how can we culture adult human  stem cells in-vitro? Also we need to identify adult stem cells for different tissues for which they have not yet been isolated, trying to identify the differentiation factors so that embryonic stem or germ cells can be differentiated in-vitro according to need for therapeutic purposes, identifying the various cells surface molecules and engineering cells to make universal donor cell lines. These are a few questions that need to be answered….but there are many more. So in the very near future, the till now incurable diseases would have treatment and also there would be no scarcity for donor organs.
